Starting with the basic obedience classes, you and your dog will learn commands such as sit, down, off-leash heeling, proper stranger introductions, recall and much more. This is a great way to start building a stronger relationship and making sure your dog understands how to properly behave in today’s society.
Have you recently gotten a puppy? The Wagmore would love to help shape your new family member into the dog of your dreams. The initial six-week class will teach basic obedience and socialization. We introduce your puppy to all manner of people, places, and objects to ensure your new puppy gets life started with their best paw forward.
Ever dreamed of having your dog compete in a dog sport such as Agility, Frisbee or Flyball? What about AKC competitive obedience? The Wagmore can help build a lasting foundation to get you competing in the sport of your choice. We have the equipment, staff and knowledge to get you started in the fun world of competitive dog sports.
Our group lessons are held in the evening. We have all types, from puppy socialization to advanced obedience and everything in between. It is a great way for dogs to learn in a social environment that mirrors the real world.
Our private lessons are available throughout the week for your convenience. They are great for working one on one with dogs who need a less distracting environment or dogs who need special attention. Private lessons are great for getting a well-trained dog to the next level in competition.
We have a wonderful program to help get your dog trained while you are out of town or just feeling a little busy and unable to attend classes. Your dog will be pampered in our top of the line accommodations and receive daily training in obedience. We can also tailor our training to address any specific behavior needs your dog may have.
With a strong foundation of obedience and a great relationship, we can start to work on some behaviors people find annoying, such as digging, nuance barking, begging ect. Behavior modifications are best done in private lessons.
