How we handle your information.

The Wagmore Pet Resort is a family-run dog boarding, daycare, and grooming business in Boerne, Texas. This policy covers wagmorepetresort.com and the ways we handle information you give us.

We only collect what we need to answer you and to look after your dog. That is:

• ✦What you send us through the site. When you use a contact or reservation-request form, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, the preferred time you asked us to reach you, and whatever you wrote in the message.
• ✦Text messages. If you text us, we receive your mobile number and the contents of the conversation. See Text messaging (SMS) below.
• ✦Reservation and stay details. Your dog's name, breed, age, vaccination records, feeding and medication instructions, your emergency contact, and the dates of the stay.
• ✦Payment information. Card details are entered into our payment processor, not into our systems. See Payments below.
• ✦Basic website analytics. Which pages were viewed and roughly where the visit came from, subject to your cookie choice. See Analytics and cookies below.

We use this information to reply to you, to arrange and run your dog's stay, to take payment, and to keep the records a boarding facility has to keep. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

What we send. If you text us, or you give us your mobile number and ask us to text you, The Wagmore Pet Resort may send you text messages about your inquiry, your reservation, your dog's stay, and your grooming or daycare appointments. Our staff reply to your messages from our text number, 830-331-5812. That number receives text messages only — to speak to someone, call our main line at 830-981-2273.

Consent. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchasing anything from us. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies — in most cases we text you only in reply to something you sent us. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge you for text messages.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting that number. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 830-981-2273.

We do not share your mobile number or your consent. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, your SMS consent, or the contents of your text messages with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing purposes. The only parties who handle this information are the service providers who deliver the messages for us, and they may use it only to deliver our messages. Mobile opt-in data is never shared for any other purpose.

What we keep. We keep the text conversation so the staff member who picks up your question can see what you already told us. Ask us at [email protected] and we will delete your conversation and your number.

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people visit and which ones they can't find. It tells us how the site is doing; it does not tell us who you are. We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels.

Cookies on this site are managed through a consent banner (Cookiebot). Necessary cookies — the ones that make the site work — are always on. Analytics cookies only run if you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time using the cookie-settings control the banner leaves on the page.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number is entered directly into Stripe's payment form and is never stored on Wagmore systems. We see only what Stripe shows us about a payment — the amount, whether it succeeded, and the last four digits and brand of the card, so we can match a payment to a reservation. Stripe handles your card details under its own privacy policy.

We use a small number of vendors to run the business. They may handle your information only to provide their service to us, and not for their own purposes:

• ✦Messaging. Twilio, to deliver and receive text messages.
• ✦Email. SendGrid and Cloudflare Email Routing, to deliver and receive email sent to and from our addresses.
• ✦Payments. Stripe.
• ✦Booking and pet records. Gingr, the pet-care management system our front desk uses.
• ✦Analytics and consent. Google Analytics and Cookiebot.
• ✦Website hosting. Vercel, Neon, and Cloudflare.

We may also share information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect the safety of a person or an animal — for example, giving a veterinarian what they need to treat your dog in an emergency.

• ✦Texts. Reply STOP to any message from us, or just ask us, and we will stop texting that number.
• ✦Email. Ask us and we will stop emailing you anything other than replies to something you sent us.
• ✦Analytics. Decline analytics cookies in the consent banner, or change your choice later through the cookie-settings control.
• ✦Access and deletion. Email [email protected] and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We may need to keep records of a stay where the law or our insurer requires it.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
